www.mainod.deThe Mainod hotel restaurant ship is a historic vessel that was built in 1959 and has been moored between the Main and Nidda estuaries in Frankfurt am Main/Höchst ever since. The Mainod is 55m long and 10m wide. The main and upper decks cover an area of approx. 800 sqare meters. On the starboard side, there is also a floatin outdoor terrace for approx. 80 people. It is pcturesquely situated between the tree-lined Schwanheimer Ufer on the one side and the historic old town of Höchst on the other, with the Bolongaro Palace, the Höchst Castle, and the Justinus Church. The main deck features an Art Deco-style restaurant with seating for approx. 120 people and a nostalgic stage with a dance floor. There is also a baroque style cabin, a bar, a cake counter and the kitchen. The upper deck houses the hotel with 10 rooms, a large breakfast room in scandinavian style with large windows an a steering wheel seeting aprrox. 40 people.
The historic hotel restaurant ship Mainod is located on the beautiful banks of the Main River in Frankfurt Höchst. On one side, you can see the tree-lined Schwanheimer Ufer, and on the other, the historic backdrop of Frankfurt Höchst. In winter, January, February, outside the season, the Mainod can be used as a filming location every day. In the early and late seasons, it is available by arrangment from Monday to Thursday. In high season only Monday and Tuesday. The Mainod is within walking distance ot the old town center with its village character, and old half timbered houses, the castle, St.Justin's Church and the Bolongaro palace. 1 mile far you can find the Schwanheimer Dunes. Traces of the industrial site Höchst AG are also still visible. Our hotel can be booked by the staff and a Catering is also possible.
