The 41st Munich International Film Festival is showing six Hessian projects, three of which are in the running for the New German Cinema Award with a total of eight nominations.

Thriller has been set as opener of the Venice Film Festival’s cutting edge Horizons and Horizons Extra section.

As part of the 75th Berlin International Film Festival, we teamed up with the Hessian Ministry of Science and the Arts to host the traditional »Äppleritivo«, welcoming around 500 guests to the Hessian reception at the state representation in Berlin.

Yesterday, the city of Marburg became the first to be awarded the new »Film-Friendly Location« label. This designation recognizes cities, municipalities, and filming locations that actively support film productions, making shoots easier and positioning themselves as particularly welcoming to filmmakers.
