The »German Pavilion« in the Village International of the Marché du Film is located near the Festival Palais and traditionally functions as a meeting place for the German and international film industry. Here you can make contacts, exchange views and information, have meetings and talk about projects just a stone’s throw away from all of the festival’s hustle and bustle.
FOCUS Germany and German Films, the national information and advice center for the international distribution of German films, are available to advise filmmakers on site if they have any questions. The stand number is 127.

The German Pavilion is organised by German Films and FOCUS Germany, the umbrella organisation of the nine main regional film funds: FilmFernsehFonds Bayern, MOIN Filmförderung Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein, Film- und Medienstiftung NRW, Hessen Film & Medien, Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg, MFG Filmförderung Baden-Württemberg, Mitteldeutsche Medienförderung (MDM), nordmedia – Film- und Mediengesell-schaft Niedersachsen/Bremen, MV Filmförderung, as well as the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media (BKM) and the German Federal Film Board (FFA) on the federal level.
