Heppenheim

With its picturesque old town, Heppenheim invites visitors to stroll around and marvel at its sights. Cobbled lanes lead to medieval squares and a well-preserved cluster of half-timbered houses. Heppenheim’s old town features a wealth of foundations dating back to the Renaissance, as well as Baroque half-timbered buildings constructed following the town fire of 1693. The parish church of St Peter is also impressive; due to its size, it is known as the ‘Cathedral of the Bergstraße’.

Heppenheim’s Old Town is a public location and is managed by the Public Order Office of the City of Heppenheim. For filming permits and enquiries, please contact the city council.
