The brick building at NOUVABRIK is the oldest and most atmospheric part of the former factory site in Dautphetal-Holzhausen am Hünstein. Decades of industrial history have given the building an authentic patina that no studio set can replicate: rough brick walls, original industrial windows flooding the space with natural light, wooden floorboards and a fireplace room that oscillates between cosy warmth and a sense of historical weight. The interior is curated with selected furniture and objects – sofas, armchairs, writing desks, cinema seats – which can be rearranged, supplemented or replaced with your own set dressing for productions. The rooms, with their varying proportions, offer variety: intimate, characterful alcoves as well as more spacious areas for group shots. The building is directly accessible via a roller door, allowing lighting equipment, camera dollies and props to be brought in without any detours. There are ample parking spaces on site for crew vehicles and technical lorries. Electricity and heating are included. A holiday flat on the premises allows production teams to stay overnight on site. The rural location – approximately 20 km from Marburg and approximately 80 km from Frankfurt – guarantees minimal noise disturbance, no public footfall and maximum exclusivity for filming days.
