documenta – the world’s largest exhibition of contemporary art – acquired its own exhibition building for the first time in 1992 with the documenta-Halle. The hall offers 1,400 m² of exhibition space and almost 700 m² of ancillary space for offices, a storage area and a cafeteria. In addition to art exhibitions, the documenta-Halle can also be used to host exhibitions accompanying conferences, trade and sales exhibitions, fairs, as well as lectures, film screenings, readings, press conferences, concerts and parties/celebrations.
