Kulturzentrum Schlachthof Wiesbaden

The Schlachthof cultural centre, run by a collective, is the largest socio-cultural centre in Hesse and a club renowned throughout Germany, hosting nearly 400 events and welcoming 300,000 visitors. It is primarily a venue for concerts and parties. However, the programme also includes comedy, readings, political events, markets and special events. This includes many collaborations with local initiatives and associations. Two halls (capacity 2,400 and 300 people) and backstage areas for filming are available. There is also a large outdoor area, the Kulturpark surrounding the Schlachthof.
