Monastery Lorsch

Lorsch Abbey has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1991. Of the original complex, only the Royal Hall, the fragment of the basilica and parts of the abbey wall remain today. The abbey is situated in the centre of Lorsch, behind the historic market square, and is surrounded by the abbey wall and the abbey park.
