The main Production Finance Market (PFM) invites established UK, EU and international producers to apply, while the New Talent strand (NTS) is for filmmaking teams (producer and director) applying with their first or second feature.
We want to encourage Hessian filmmakers to apply and take advantage of this extensive programme!
The Production Finance Market (PFM) is the annual two-day financing event for film by Film London, run in association with the BFI London Film Festival. Applications for the 2025 PFM are now open (extended deadline for Hessian producers 25th July at 5pm).
Whether an established producer or an emerging voice, the PFM offers tailored opportunities through two strands:
Main Strand
Open to experienced producers with projects aimed at international audiences, this strand is designed for feature films with a budget of at least €1 million (and documentaries at any budget-level), with some finance already in place. Participants receive personalised meeting schedules, connecting them directly with potential financiers, distributors, sales agents, and other key industry partners.
New Talent Strand (NTS)
Designed for first- or second-time filmmaking teams, the New Talent Strand (NTS) offers pitch training, project mentoring, and a bespoke day of meetings with financiers. With no budget cap, this strand expands access and opens the door wider for bold, breakthrough projects. The programme also includes an intensive Prep Week led by industry experts, supporting filmmakers in pitching, financing, and navigating the independent film landscape.
